More contractor misbehaviour

Contractors were spotted sweeping tar into a drain, rather than clearing it up properly.

Tesco’s contractors driving the wrong way

Just a quick example of Tesco not playing by the rules – their contractors have been spotted driving past the No Entry sign, the wrong way up Sedgwick Street, to reach their site.

This is particularly naughty given that Tesco requested a Traffic Regulation Order to make the street two-way for a short length, but were refused. So the rules are just being broken anyway.

Tesco already causing blockages on Mill Road

Here are two photos taken this morning from across the street by Denise which should be added to our file of how deliveries to the front of the site would
affect traffic (this was for the delivery of tarmac). This was at c.10.30am outside rush hour and also outside term time. One shows the threat to cyclists in
attempting to pass a vehicle standing on the pavement and sticking out into the road and the other just shows complete pandamonium.
